Position: School Nurse (Registered Nurse - RN)
Location: Gages Lake, Illinois
Are you a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) looking to make a direct impact on a student's life? Join our team as a 1-on-1 School Nurse and provide essential care and support to a student in need!
Position Overview:
As a 1-on-1 School Nurse (RN), you will work closely with a student who requires specialized medical attention during the school day. You will ensure the student's health and safety while supporting their educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct healthcare services to a specific student, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and managing chronic conditions.
  • Develop and implement an individualized health care plan in collaboration with the student’s family and healthcare providers.
  • Assist the student with daily activities and ensure their participation in school routines and activities.
  • Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and school staff to coordinate care and support the student’s educational goals.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential health records.
Qualifications:
  • Must have a valid state license as a Registered Nurse (RN
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Must be CPR and BLS Certified
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills preferred
Details:  
  • Hours: 37.5 hours/week + bus rides to and from school with student
  • Weekly pay + Benefits
  • Caseload: 1-on-1
