Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) for full-time roles within school districts in the Westerly, Rhode Island area.
Responsibilities:
As an RBT, you will be responsible for:
- Implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs) designed by Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
- Monitoring and recording student progress through data collection.
- Assisting in the development of social skills and coping mechanisms for students.
- Collaborating with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure the student’s success.
- Adapting to the unique needs of each student, providing individualized support and care.
- Supporting classroom management and behavior strategies.
- Attending team meetings and training sessions as required.
Requirements:
Applicants must meet the following local and state requirements to be considered:
- Must hold a current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Must comply with Rhode Island state licensure requirements for RBTs, which may include background checks, fingerprinting, and up-to-date immunizations.
- Must have relevant experience working in a school setting or with children with behavioral challenges.
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
