Job Opportunity: Special Education (SPED) Positions

Location: Gardner, MA
School District: Gardner Public Schools
Start/End Date: ASAP – 06/13/2025
Hours per Week: Part-time

Position Details: We are hiring for two Special Education (SPED) roles for the 2024/2025 school year:

1. Middle School SPED Teacher – RISE Program

• Caseload: Focused on students with disabilities related to cognitive deficits, social, and adaptive needs.
• Location: Gardner Middle School
• Program: Substantially separate program designed to meet individual needs based on assessment results.

2. Long-Term SPED Substitute

• Caseload: Multiple locations based on need.

Required Credentials:

• In-person availability.
• Massachusetts License for Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities or Severe Disabilities.
• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree; Master’s Degree preferred.
