$35/hr Special Education Teacher (SPED) Needed for Warrenville, IL

 We are currently hiring for SPED in the Warrenville area. This is a great Full- time opportunity for the current school year!

                        Job Details:

• Full Time: 8:15am - 3:15pm 
• Start: ASAP - 6/1/22
• Summer Start: 6/14/22 - ends 7/27/22
• Cases load/ Duties: Age 11-22
  •  primary disability of Autism, often a secondary disability of intellectual disability or emotional disabilits
  • students are considered Significantly impacted with Autism; many are non-verbal and utilize ACC devices
  •  programming in primarily functional (i.e. - functional academics, functional daily living, functional communication, functional vocational skills,)
  • students struggle with the ability to self-regulate, so at times students can become physically aggressive
  •  all staff are training in Safety-Care (it is a licensed program to keep students and staff safe in the event of the need to implement physical restraints)

                                   
                                          Job Qualifications

• Must have LBS1 with SPED endorsement
• Active SPED licensure
• Multi-categorical special education certification required
