A School Based Social Worker is Needed

Blazerjobs, in collaboration with the esteemed School District in Mason, MI, is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Social Worker to join our team. Responsibilities:

• Provide social work services to students and their families to address academic and social-emotional challenges.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and community resources to support student success.
• Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans to address the unique needs of students.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on social-emotional goals.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of all interactions and interventions.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work
• State licensure as a Social Worker
• Experience working in an educational setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
