Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced Occupational Therapists (OTs) for a full-time, school-based position in Quincy, MA. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional looking to make a positive impact on students' lives by providing essential occupational therapy services within an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address each student's unique needs and challenges.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students with diverse disabilities, supporting their participation in classroom and school activities.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapy goals into the students' daily routines and educational programs.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress, therapy sessions, and evaluations.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing to the development and adjustment of student-specific goals.
• Provide training and resources to staff and parents to support the continuation of therapy strategies outside of the therapy environment.

Qualifications:

• Must meet all local and state licensure and certification requirements for Occupational Therapy in Massachusetts.
• Experience working with special education students and their families is highly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration in a school environment.
