Pay Range: $35 - $55 per hour

School Year: Positions available for this current school year, 2024 - 2025, and next school year, 2025 - 2026.

We are currently seeking skilled School-Based Occupational Therapists to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year and the 2025-2026 school year. As a School-Based Occupational Therapist, you will work with students to support their ability to participate in everyday school activities. You will assess, develop, and implement individualized intervention plans that enhance students’ fine motor, sensory, and self-regulation skills, ensuring they thrive in the academic environment.
Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' occupational therapy needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results.
Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create strategies that support student success.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress reports, and IEP goals.
Participate in IEP meetings, providing input on therapy goals and accommodations.
Educate and train school staff and parents on strategies to support students' occupational therapy needs.
Adapt and modify classroom activities and materials to enhance student participation.
Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance student development and functional performance.
Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in school-based occupational therapy.
Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in the state of practice.
NBCOT certification preferred.
Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of child development, sensory integration, fine and gross motor development, and assistive technology.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and manage caseload effectively.
