We are working with schools in the Gaffney, South Carolina area to find a knowledgeable and kind Special Education Teacher (SPED) to join our team for the full school year!
 

Position Details:

• Current School Year
• Specific caseload details will be discussed during the interview process
• Pay Range: $20 - $40 per hour, depending on previous experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs that cater to the specific needs of each student, setting achievable and measurable educational goals.
• Foster a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment in which students can thrive.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure that students receive the comprehensive support they need.
• Maintain detailed records of students' progress and adapt educational plans as necessary.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid South Carolina Teaching Certificate
• Must have a South Carolina Special Education Certificate
• Must have Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education, or related field
