Actively Interviewing! Teacher Assistant (TA) / Paraprofessional (PARA) Opening | Waltham, MA

A Paraprofessional (PARA)  / Teacher Assistant (TA) position for the full school year has opened up at our partner school in Waltham, Massachusetts. We are looking for a candidate wanting to work with students of varying levels to join our Special Education team!

Qualifications:

• Must have a High School Diploma/GED
• Paraprofessional II Certification preferred, but not required
• Previous school experience preferred
• Must be able to pass a Background check 
• Must be comfortable toileting/diapering as needed

About the Position:

• Current School Year
• Full time: up to 40 hours per week
• Caseload details will be discussed during the interview process
• Pay Range: $15 - $25 per hour, depending on previous experience

Daily Responsibilities:

• Help teachers implement lesson plans and classroom activities.
• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to give academic support and/or reinforcement.
• Assist students with special needs, learning challenges, or disabilities in their educational and social development.
