Job Overview:
We are seeking a certified Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) to provide specialized instruction to visually impaired students. This role involves teaching academic and non-academic content, collaborating with staff, and supporting students’ independence.
Responsibilities:
- Teach Braille, assistive technology, and other skills for visually impaired students.
- Collaborate with staff and families to develop and implement IEPs.
- Adapt materials and strategies to meet students’ needs.
Requirements:
- Certification as a VI Teacher.
- Experience with school-aged students.
- Proficiency in Braille and assistive technology.
