Anoka, MN Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Contract Job

Blazerworks, in collaboration with a school district in Anoka, MN, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our virtual team. This is a full-time position that offers the flexibility of working remotely while providing exceptional speech therapy services to students. Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations to diagnose students' speech and language disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, goals, and interventions for students.
• Provide virtual speech therapy services to students using teleconferencing platforms and innovative technology.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure students' speech and language needs are met.
• Monitor and document students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide guidance and support to parents and caregivers to reinforce speech and language skills at home.
• Stay up-to-date with best practices in speech-language pathology and participate in professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in the state of Minnesota.
• ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Previous experience as an SLP, preferably in a school or telepractice setting.
• Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and their appropriate interventions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff in a virtual environment.
• Proficient in using teleconferencing platforms and technology for virtual therapy sessions.
