School-Based Occupational Therapist

Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist to join a school-based team. This position is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives by helping them achieve their educational and developmental goals.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' functional and developmental abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with students' educational goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and treatment outcomes.
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Offer consultation and training to staff to support students' needs.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• NBCOT certification.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
• Ability to pass state-required background checks.
