We have a partner school in the Commerce City, Colorado area to find multiple Special Education Teachers (SPED) for the current school year. We are looking for a knowledgeable and compassionate candidate to support our Special Education students!

Requirements:

• Must have a Colorado Special Education License
• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education, or related field
• Previous classroom experience preferred, but not required

Position Details:

• Current School Year
• Full-Time: up to 40 hours per week, specific days and times will be discussed during the interview process
• Pay Rate: $30 - $45 per hour, depending on previous experience
• Specific details will be discussed and provided during the interview process

Responsibilities:

• Create and execute Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs, establishing attainable and measurable educational objectives.
• Employ diverse teaching strategies and resources to enhance learning and accommodate the varying needs of students.
• Evaluate students' performance and monitor their progress, adjusting educational plans as needed.
• Cultivate a safe, positive, and nurturing learning environment that encourages student growth.
• Work collaboratively with parents, teachers, and other professionals to provide students with comprehensive support.
• Keep detailed records of student progress and modify educational plans when necessary.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on new methods and legislative changes in special education.
