Our partner school in Maywood, Illinois, has an opening for an Occupational Therapist (OT) for the current school year. We are seeking a caring applicant who wants to work with kids of all levels and satisfies the requirements listed below!

Qualifications:

• Must have an active Illinois OT License
• Must have Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Must be licensed through the Illinois Board
• Previous experience with IEP's preferred, but not required
• Previous experience working with pediatrics or school-based settings preferred, but not required

About the Position:

• Current School Year
• Full time preferred
• Caseload: grades K - 12th, specific caseload details will be discussed during the interview process
• Pay Rate: $35 - $50 per hour, depending on previous experiences

Daily Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' fine motor skills, sensory integration, visual-motor coordination, self-care abilities, and functional performance.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, setting goals and objectives that address students' specific needs.
• Provide individual and group occupational therapy sessions to students, implementing evidence-based interventions to improve their functional abilities.
