Job Description: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Position Details:
- Hours: 19.5 hours per week (3 days)
- Schedule: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: June 26, 2025
- Location: Massachusetts
- Caseload:
- Preschool (Compensatory Services) initially
- Elementary Caseload thereafter
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Work collaboratively with occupational therapists, teachers, and other staff to support student needs.
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate with staff and families as required.
- Adapt interventions to meet the developmental and educational goals of preschool and elementary students.
Requirements:
- Active COTA certification in Massachusetts.
- Experience working with preschool and elementary-aged students is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
