Candidate Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to monitor student progress and adjust strategies as necessary.
• Provide direct instruction in academic, social, and life skills to students with diverse needs.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and learning.
• Assess and evaluate students' abilities and needs to inform instructional planning and intervention.
• Advocate for students' rights and ensure compliance with special education regulations and policies.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Special Education / Education or related field
• Active State Teaching License
