Milford School District Seeks Passionate BCBA to Join Our Team!

Location: Milford, DE (covering 1 Elementary School, Milford Central Academy, & Milford High School) Dates: ASAP - June 13th, 2024 Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week) Caseload: 3 schools (2 secondary and 1 elementary); collaborating with Behavioral ILC Classrooms

If so, the Milford School District wants you! We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing team. You will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse learning needs by developing and implementing effective behavior intervention plans (BIPs), providing direct therapy, and collaborating with staff and families.

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized BIPs for students across three schools.
  • Provide direct behavior therapy to students in various settings, including classrooms and individual sessions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, administrators, and families to create and implement comprehensive behavior support plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, making adjustments to BIPs as needed.
  • Train and supervise paraprofessionals and other staff on ABA principles and practices.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in the field.

What We're Looking For:

  • Master's Degree in Education/Special Education or related field.
  • National BCBA certification.
  • Experience working with individuals with diverse learning needs and challenging behaviors across all age groups.
  • Strong understanding of ABA principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Data-driven and results-oriented mindset.
  • Positive attitude and a commitment to student success.
