Are you looking for a new opportunity? A school near Birmingham, AL is looking for a Behavior Aides for the 2024 - 2025 school year. 

Details:

  • Full Time 
  • Contract
  • 2024 - 2025 School Year
  • Caseload: Self Contained Classroom, Elementary, Moderate Behaviors 
  • Caseload details will be discussed on the virtual interview. 

Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans developed by the BCBA, including teaching new skills and reducing problematic behaviors.
  • Collect and record data on student progress, behavior, and response to interventions.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, utilizing behavior management techniques and strategies.
  • Assist in conducting behavioral assessments and contributing to the development of individualized intervention plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure consistent implementation of behavior plans and strategies across settings.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay current with best practices and program updates.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of student behavior and progress.
  • Support the creation and implementation of positive behavior support plans and classroom strategies.
  • Promote a positive and supportive learning environment through proactive behavior management and reinforcement techniques.

  • ABA Experience
