Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Behavior Aides for a full-time role with school districts in the Birmingham, AL area. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are passionate about supporting students with behavioral and emotional challenges in a school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct behavioral support to students in individual and group settings.
  • Assist teachers and staff in implementing behavior intervention plans.
  • Monitor and document student progress, behaviors, and interventions.
  • Support students in developing coping strategies and positive social skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and special education teams to enhance student success.
  • Help maintain a safe and structured classroom environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (some districts may require additional certifications or experience).
  • Experience working with students with behavioral challenges is preferred.
  • Strong communication and de-escalation skills.
  • Patience, compassion, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and follow behavior intervention plans effectively.
