Position Overview: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Beverly, MA

Focus: Behavioral Support for K-12 Students with Special Needs

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Behavior Technician:

  • Implement Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs):
    As an RBT, you will be responsible for implementing Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs) that are tailored to meet the specific needs of each student. You will play a crucial role in helping students modify behaviors and achieve both academic and social goals.

  • Collaborate with Teachers and Families:
    You will work closely with teachers, specialists, and families to provide a cohesive support system for students. Effective communication and teamwork will be essential to ensuring that each student receives the best care.

  • Track and Monitor Student Progress:
    Regularly track and monitor student progress on both academic and behavioral goals. Adjust interventions as needed to ensure students are consistently achieving positive outcomes.

  • Create a Positive, Inclusive Learning Environment:
    As an RBT, you will help create a supportive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment where students feel motivated, engaged, and ready to succeed.

What We’re Looking for in an RBT:

We are seeking a compassionate and committed individual who is passionate about helping students with special needs succeed. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Active RBT Certification (or ability to obtain certification in Massachusetts)
  • National RBT Certification
  • A genuine desire to work with students facing behavioral and academic challenges

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with students with autism, emotional/behavioral disorders, or other developmental disabilities
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a student-centered approach
