Bilingual Social Worker Role in School Setting

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Bilingual School Social Workers for a full-time role with school districts in the Green Bay, WI area. We are seeking compassionate individuals dedicated to supporting students' social and emotional well-being and fostering a positive school climate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct social work support to students in both individual and group settings, addressing emotional, social, and behavioral concerns.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and community resources to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.
• Offer bilingual support services to assist students and families in both English and Spanish, ensuring clear communication and culturally competent care.
• Assist in crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and behavior management within the school environment.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and social work services provided.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to promote comprehensive support for students.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW) required; Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) preferred.
• Current state licensure or certification as a school social worker.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is essential.
• Previous experience working in an educational setting or with children and adolescents is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and crisis intervention skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to support student success.
