Board Certified Behavior Technician (BCBT) needed in the Kansas City Area

We are seeking an amazing BCBA to support students, educators, and families in promoting positive behavior and academic success. As a key member of our special education team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans, conducting functional behavior assessments, and providing training and consultation to school staff.
The Specifics:

  • Caseload: Elementary and Middle School Students
  • Part time: 20 hours a week
  • Will be supporting district RBTs
  • Will be working alongside a district BCBA

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students with diverse needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement evidence-based strategies that promote positive behavior and academic success.
  • Provide direct supervision and training to behavior technicians and other staff members.
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and make data-driven decisions.
  • Participate in individualized education program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of student goals.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Special Education, School/Educational Psychology, or a related field.
  • Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Must hold National BCBA Certificate
  • Experience working with students with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities preferred
