Blazer Jobs, in partnership with the school district, is seeking dedicated and compassionate Bus Aide Paraprofessionals for the current school year. This is a full-time, onsite position assisting with bus routes, ensuring the safety and well-being of students during transportation. Candidates who do not meet requirements will not be considered.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist students during bus rides to and from school
• Ensure student safety and assist with boarding and disembarking
• Monitor student behavior to maintain a positive and safe environment
• Assist in managing special needs students on the bus (autism, behavioral challenges, etc.)
• Support emergency evacuation procedures as needed

Daily Hours:

• Hours vary by route, but generally 6:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. (25 hours per week)

Start: ASAP — End: 5/23/25

State Requirements:

• Must have at least one year of experience in a school setting (autism and behavioral experience preferred)
• Fingerprinting required during onboarding (any felony or misdemeanor charges will result in rejection by the District)
• Physical exam required (must be able to drag/pull a dummy off the bus for emergency preparedness)

Pay Rate:

• $22 to $25 per hour (depending on experience)
