Case Management School Social Worker (SSW) Needed In Central Falls, RI

We are searching for a full-time, onsite School Social Worker (SSW) to join our team at a partner school in the Central Falls, Rhode Island area. We are looking for a kind and dedicated candidate interested in helping students full-time in a school-based setting. 

You will be instrumental in providing essential support to students facing social, emotional, economic, and environmental challenges. By collaborating with students, families, teachers, and other school staff, you will play a critical role in enhancing students' educational performance and overall well-being!

Qualifications:

• Must have an active Rhode Island School Social Work License
• Must be licensed through the State Board
• Must have Master’s Degree in School Social Work
• Spanish bilingual preferred, but not required
• Previous experience preferred, but not required

Position Details:

• Current School Year
• Full time : up to 40 hours per week / Monday - Friday
• Caseload: K - 12th grade students; specific caseload details will be discussed during the interview process
• Pay Range: $30 - $50 per hour, depending on previous experience

General Responsibilities:

• Assist students, parents/guardians and staff with methods and resources that effectively address issues of achievement, social emotional adjustment, and attendance in the school setting
• Increase student engagement and success through student support and supervision, attendance, social-emotional behavior support, and collaboration with staff, students, families and community. 
• Provide direct support services through counseling, crisis intervention, and case management as needed.
