Certified Nursing Assistant Role in School Setting

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for a full-time role with school districts in the Kansas City, KS area. We are seeking compassionate professionals who are committed to supporting students’ health and well-being within an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct health-related services to students under the supervision of a school nurse.
• Assist students with daily living activities, including feeding, mobility, and personal hygiene.
• Monitor and document students' health conditions and report any concerns to medical personnel.
• Support students with disabilities or special medical needs by ensuring accommodations are met.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare staff to promote student wellness.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with school health policies.

Qualifications:

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Kansas.
• Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school or pediatric setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to student health and safety.
• Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to a school environment.
