We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our Special Education team near at a school near Wilkesboro, North Carolina. This full-time, onsite position is interviewing now for the current school year! 

Requirements:

  • You must have an active COTA North Carolina License AND be licensed through the State Board.
  • You must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy. 
  • Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required

Position Details:

  • Current school year
  • Full-Time: up to 40 hours per week
  • Caseload: K - 12th grade students, specific caseload details will be discussed during the interview process
  • Supervision will be provided by an Occupational Therapist
  • Pay Range: $20 - $40 per hour, depending on previous experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of occupational therapy interventions, as prescribed by the Occupational Therapist, to improve students' functional abilities.
  • Monitor students' progress and provide feedback to the Occupational Therapist for potential adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Assist students in activities and exercises specified in their treatment plan, in group or one-on-one settings.
