Certified School Nurse (CSN) in Buffalo Grove, IL

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Certified School Nurses (CSNs) for a full-time role with school districts in the Buffalo Grove, IL area. We are seeking dedicated professionals passionate about making a difference in the lives of students.

Position Requirements:

• Must hold an active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Must possess a Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Nurse Endorsement issued by the Illinois State Board of Education.
• CPR certification required.
• Previous experience as a CSN in an educational setting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local health regulations impacting school health services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with educators, parents, and external healthcare providers to support student health and well-being.
• Maintain accurate health records in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines.
• Educate staff and students on health-related topics including disease prevention and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Oversight of building nurses
