Classroom Support Paraprofessional Hiring for 2025 School Year in Santa Monica, CA

Position Details:

• Start & End Date: 2025 New School Year
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
• Location: Onsite in a school setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teachers in Special Education or General Education classrooms
• Provide one-on-one or small group instruction
• Assist with lesson preparation, classroom materials, and student assessments
• Collaborate with educators and staff to create an inclusive learning environment
• Help students with self-care needs, including toileting, feeding, and mobility assistance if required
• Must be physically capable of assisting students who require lifting or restraint

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• Experience working with children (Preferred)
• Paraprofessional Certification (Required)
• Associate degree (Preferred)
