Design and Implement IEPs:
Create and manage Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that cater to each student's unique needs, collaborating with families, staff, and specialists to ensure the best educational outcomes.
Foster an Inclusive and Supportive Environment:
Build a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom atmosphere where students feel valued, supported, and encouraged to engage with their learning.
Collaboration Across Teams:
Work closely with general education teachers, administrators, counselors, and families to provide well-rounded support to students and to track their academic and behavioral progress.
Support Behavioral and Emotional Development:
Implement strategies to help students build social-emotional skills, manage challenging behaviors, and engage with their education in a meaningful way.
Engage in Continuous Learning:
Participate in professional development and stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in special education to improve instructional strategies.
