Dates: July 14, 2025 – May 20, 2026

Hours: Full-Time

Caseload/Details:

• We are hiring 4 OTs for the 2025-2026 school year.
• In-person services.
• Caseload typically ranges between 30-35 students.
• 3:1 service delivery model: 3 weeks of direct treatment, followed by 1 week of indirect services.
• Assignments will typically involve 2-4 school sites, depending on caseload distribution.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine students' occupational therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's specific requirements.
• Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students in various school settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' participation in educational activities.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress.
• Participate in IEP meetings and other relevant meetings.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and valid Alaska OT license.
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
• Strong understanding of school-based occupational therapy practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to travel between multiple school sites.

Compensation:

• Hourly pay range: $45-$65, with the actual rate determined by qualifications, experience, and the cost of living within the area.
