Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and school support staff to create inclusive classroom environments.
• Provide specialized instruction in core subjects such as reading, writing, and math.
• Monitor student progress, adjust teaching strategies, and provide feedback to ensure academic success.
• Ensure compliance with federal and Illinois state special education guidelines.

Applicant Requirements:

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for this position:

• Valid Illinois Special Education Teaching License.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Experience with developing and implementing IEPs.
• Familiarity with Illinois special education laws and procedures.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
