Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) - Lynn, MA

Position Details

Responsibilities

As an Occupational Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting evaluations to determine students' therapy needs and creating individualized treatment plans.
• Providing direct occupational therapy services to students to enhance their fine motor, sensory, and functional skills.
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students’ educational goals.
• Monitoring and documenting student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to the development of Individualized Education Programs.
• Ensuring compliance with school, local, and state policies and regulations.

Requirements

Applicants must meet the following local and state requirements:

• A valid Massachusetts Occupational Therapist license.
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
• Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting (preferred).
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
