**Job Opening: Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)**

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of visually impaired students? We’re looking for a dynamic Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to join our dedicated team and inspire students to achieve their fullest potential.

**What You'll Do:**
- Work closely with a small group of students, both in and outside the classroom
- Create engaging lessons and adaptable resources tailored to each student’s needs
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Use innovative teaching methods, including Braille, sign language, and lip-reading
- Utilize specialized tools to create an interactive and stimulating learning environment
- Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the learning experience
- Communicate regularly with parents, offering insights and suggestions for at-home support

**What You Bring:**
- A Master’s degree in Education for Visually Impaired Students
- An active State License in Visual Education
- Proven experience working with students who are blind, have low vision, or other visual impairments
- Proficiency in Braille (including Nemeth Braille) and independent living strategies
