Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time position. This role is crucial in supporting the communication needs of elementary students.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Lead SLP in conducting speech and language therapy sessions.
- Implement therapeutic activities to improve students' communication skills.
- Collaborate with educational staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in a related field (e.g., Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Program) is required; strong preference for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree.
- Valid SLPA license or certification as required by the state.
