Job Summary: We are seeking a certified Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher to join our team in Clarksville, just 25 minutes from Helen. This part-time role (15 hours/week) involves providing specialized services to students with hearing impairments based on their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing 504 students, attending IEP meetings, and working with FM systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide services as outlined in students' IEPs for D/HH students.
  • Write and update IEPs for D/HH students.
  • Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings.
  • Manage 504 plans for students and ensure compliance with educational guidelines.
  • Assist in the use and management of FM systems.
  • Maintain accurate records in PowerSchool and GOIEP software.

Qualifications:

  • GA Certification for Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) required.
  • Experience with IEPs and working with D/HH students preferred.
  • Proficiency in using PowerSchool and GOIEP software.
