Blazer Jobs is seeking a qualified Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher to join our partner school district in Covington, GA for the 2025-2026 school year.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Use assistive technology and communication methods to support student learning
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and school staff
  • Monitor student progress and adapt instructional strategies accordingly

Requirements:

  • Valid Georgia teaching certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education
  • Experience working with DHH students in a school setting
  • Strong knowledge of ASL, auditory-verbal techniques, or other communication modalities (preferred but not required)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
