Dedicated SPED Teacher Needed Full-Time Contract Role

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Special Education Teachers for a full-time position with school districts in the Kannapolis, NC area. We are looking for dedicated educators passionate about working with students with diverse learning needs and helping them achieve academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s specific needs.
• Adapt teaching strategies and materials to accommodate different learning styles.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure the success of students in inclusive and special education settings.
• Assess student progress and make necessary adjustments to instructional methods.
• Provide direct instruction in both academic and life skills, as required.

Applicant Requirements:

To qualify for this role, applicants must meet the following North Carolina state requirements:

• North Carolina Special Education Teacher License.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Experience working with IEPs and adapting curriculum for students with disabilities.
