W2 Contract For Early Childhood Occupational Therapist
Location: Houston, TX
Discipline: Occupational Therapist (OT)
Dates: August 12, 2025 – May 29, 2026 (2025/2026 School Year)
Hours: Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)
Caseload/Details:
- Early Childhood through High School
- 50+ Student Caseloads
- Service Hours: Direct therapy and consultative services
- Potential travel to 9-11 school sites across the district
Your Mission (Should You Choose to Accept It):
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
- Provide direct and indirect therapy services to students across all grade levels.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support student success.
- Adapt and modify activities and environments to meet students' individual needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Travel to multiple school sites across the district as needed.
Your Essential Toolkit:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid Texas Occupational Therapy license.
- Experience working with school-aged children (PreK-12th grade).
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to travel between multiple school sites.

Hourly Pay Range (W2 Contract, Houston, TX):
The hourly rate for a W2 contract - $38 to $55 per hour.
