W2 Contract For Early Childhood Occupational Therapist

Discipline: Occupational Therapist (OT)

Dates: August 12, 2025 – May 29, 2026 (2025/2026 School Year)

Hours: Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)

Caseload/Details:

  • Early Childhood through High School
  • 50+ Student Caseloads
  • Service Hours: Direct therapy and consultative services
  • Potential travel to 9-11 school sites across the district

Your Mission (Should You Choose to Accept It):

  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
  • Provide direct and indirect therapy services to students across all grade levels.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support student success.
  • Adapt and modify activities and environments to meet students' individual needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
  • Travel to multiple school sites across the district as needed.

Your Essential Toolkit:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid Texas Occupational Therapy license.
  • Experience working with school-aged children (PreK-12th grade).
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  
  • Flexibility and adaptability to travel between multiple school sites.

Hourly Pay Range (W2 Contract, Houston, TX):

The hourly rate for a W2 contract - $38 to $55 per hour
