Early Education Special Education Teacher
We are currently interviewing for an Early Education Special Education Teacher for our school district. Please see details below:
Location: Minooka, IL

• Full-time
• Monday- Friday | 8:15am-12:15pm
• Start/End Date: ASAP- 5/26/2023
• Caseload: 3- to 5-year-olds (Starting with 2 students in the classroom, will increase as new students qualify. Will max out at 10 in the classroom.
• Onsite Only

Responsibilities

• Assess students’ skills and determine their educational needs
• Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student
• Teach and mentor students as a class, in small groups and one-on-one
• Discuss students’ progress with parents, other teachers, counselors, and administrators

Required Credentials/Non-Negotiables:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Master’s/ Doctoral Degree in Special Education

• Active IL Special Education Teaching License/ Certificate
• Early Childhood Special Education Certification
