Position Type: Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Educational Paraprofessional to join our team in Pleasant Hill, MO. The selected candidate will work on a 1:1 basis with a non-verbal 7th - 8th grade student. The role may require toileting assistance with the student. Additionally, the candidate will be asked to support other students when the 1:1 student is in related services.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 assistance to a non-verbal 7th - 8th grade student.
• Offer toileting assistance to the student as needed.
• Support other students when the 1:1 student is engaged in related services.
• Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create a positive learning environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting.
• Possession of a substitute license or Missouri paraprofessional certification.
• Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other staff members.
• Compassion and patience in working with students with diverse needs.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in providing educational support to students in a school environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to the individual needs of students.
