Elementary ASD Special Education Teacher - Belmont, MA

Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Elementary Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Special Education Teacher to join a supportive school district in Belmont, MA. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with ASD.
• Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies to support academic, social, and behavioral development.
• Collaborate with a team of educators, parents, and specialists to create a nurturing learning environment.
• Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods as needed.
• Provide training and support to paraprofessionals and classroom aides.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education.
• Active Massachusetts teaching license with Special Education endorsement.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with students with ASD.
• Strong understanding of behavior management and intervention techniques.
