Elementary Resource Special Education Teacher (SPED) - Full-time

Colorado Special Education Teachers must hold a Colorado Special Education Teaching License with the appropriate endorsement (Mild/Moderate or Severe Needs). A Bachelor’s degree in Special Education is required, and candidates must pass the Praxis Special Education Exam.

As a Special Education Teacher in Littleton, CO, you’ll work with elementary students in a resource setting, helping them develop essential academic and social skills. Your role will be instrumental in supporting students who require extra guidance to succeed in the classroom. By fostering inclusive learning strategies, you’ll help build student confidence and academic growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Provide targeted interventions in small group settings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curriculum.
• Utilize assistive technology and adaptive materials.
• Track student progress and provide regular updates to families.
