Elementary School 1:1 Paraprofessional

Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced Elementary School Paraprofessionals for a full-time role with school districts in the Bremerton, WA area. 

Responsibilities:

• Assisting teachers with classroom management and providing support during instructional activities.
• Working one-on-one or in small groups with students who need additional academic, social, or behavioral support.
• Assisting students with special needs in completing tasks and adapting learning materials to meet individual learning goals.
• Supporting students during transitions, lunch, and other non-instructional activities.
• Collaborating with teachers, counselors, and other school staff to create a supportive learning environment.
• Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers.
• Maintaining a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment.

Requirements:

To apply, candidates must meet all Washington state and local requirements, including:

• Completion of the ParaPro Assessment OR an Associates (or higher)
• Prior experience working with high school students or in a school setting preferred.
• Background checks and fingerprint clearance as required by the district and state regulations.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
