Elementary School Special Education Teacher Job

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student needs and goals.
• Collaborate with other educators, school staff, and parents to support students’ development.
• Adapt instructional materials and methods to meet varying student abilities.
• Track and evaluate student progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Active Indiana teaching license with Special Education certification.
• At least one year of experience as a Special Education Teacher.
• Strong understanding of special education laws and IEP implementation.
