Elementary School Special Education Teacher Needed

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students' needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families to foster an inclusive learning environment.
• Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ progress and adjust teaching methods as needed.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding special education.
• Provide guidance and support for students’ academic, social, and emotional growth.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Licenses/Certifications:
  • Valid Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) Special Education License.
  • Endorsements in specific areas (e.g., Cross-Categorical Special Education) are preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a special education role.
