We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to join our team in providing support for elementary special education students. Responsibilities:

• Work 1:1 with an elementary special education student to provide individualized support and assistance.
• Collaborate closely with the lead special education teacher to implement educational plans and strategies.
• Support the inclusion and participation of the student in classroom activities.
• Assist with classroom management and behavior interventions as needed.
• Provide a nurturing and inclusive environment where the student can thrive academically and socially.
• Foster a positive and supportive rapport with the student, promoting their overall well-being.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Education or related field is a plus).
• Experience working with students with special needs is preferred.
• Knowledge of special education practices and principles is a strong advantage.
• Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to follow the guidance of the lead special education teacher.
