Elementary Special Education Teacher
Blazer Jobs is hiring three dedicated Special Education Teachers to join a school in St. Albans, NY. These on-site roles include teaching at the 3rd, 5th/6th, and 7th-grade levels in specialized settings.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for assigned students.
- Provide differentiated instruction tailored to meet students' unique needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure student success.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress.
- Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions.
Qualifications:
- Valid New York Special Education teaching certification for the appropriate grade level.
- Proven experience in special education settings is preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
