Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing for a full-time Elementary School Special Education Teacher (SPED) position with school districts in the Grand Forks, ND area. We are seeking passionate and experienced individuals to join our team and support the academic and developmental needs of students with disabilities.

Position: Elementary School Special Education Teacher (SPED)
Location: Grand Forks, ND
Type: Full-time, Contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to meet student needs.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions and strategies as necessary.
• Provide direct instruction and support in areas such as reading, math, social skills, and behavior management.
• Create a supportive, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
• Conduct assessments to determine student needs and progress.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations.

Qualifications:

To be eligible for this position, applicants must meet the following local and state requirements:

• Valid North Dakota Special Education Teaching License.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Familiarity with IEP processes and state/federal special education regulations.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Experience working with students with various disabilities in an elementary setting.
