Blazer Jobs invites applications for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to support the special needs of children within the Houston community. Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in interactions with the supervising SLP, demonstrating responsiveness to feedback.
• Maintain client records in accordance with confidentiality regulations prescribed by the supervising SLP.
• Use appropriate prompts and stimuli to elicit targeted student behaviors as defined in the treatment protocol.
• Submit therapy logs quarterly to the direct supervisor.
• Create a powerful learning environment to close gaps in communication and academic skills.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in communicative sciences and disorders or speech-language pathology/audiology.
• Texas SLPA License/Certification from ASH.
• Previous experience working with students in an educational setting is strongly preferred.
