Job Title: Temporary School Physical Therapist (PT) - Summer Program Coverage

Provide Essential Summer Therapy: Join Our Team!

A school is seeking a dedicated and skilled School Physical Therapist (PT) to provide vital therapy services during our summer program. This is a temporary, focused opportunity to support students in maintaining and improving their physical abilities.

Dates: June 10, 2025 – July 10, 2025

Schedule:

• Monday – Thursday: 8:15 AM – 12:15 PM
• Fridays: No school
• First and Last Day: 8:15 AM – 3:15 PM

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students based on their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with other educational professionals, including teachers, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
• Adapt activities and environments to meet students' physical needs.
• Ensure the safe and effective use of therapy equipment.

Qualifications:

• Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid Illinois Physical Therapy license.
• Experience working with school-aged children.
• Knowledge of IEP processes and special education regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
